The Committee


An elected parent committee manages the business of Little Bears, which ensures all decisions affecting Little Bears are taken by the parents. The Committee consists of three officers (the Chair, the Secretary, and the Treasurer) and a number of other committee members. 

 

The Committee usually meets once per term to discuss all aspects of running Little Bears as well as look at new ideas for the Pre-School and how we can improve. All committee members are volunteers and as such we are always looking for new members to help out with the various aspects involved in running the Pre-School. 

 

Fundraising 


Alongside the Main Committee, we have a Fundraising Committee, which organises a number of exciting fundraising events throughout the year.  Our fundraising events are a great way to get involved with Little Bears, either by helping to organise them or by supporting them.  In the past we have had Cake Sales, Summer Fairs, Sponsored Walks, Car Boot Sales, Christmas Nativities, Treasure Hunts, Stay and Play‚Ķ.the list goes on!


Funds raised go towards purchasing extra resources for the Pre-School and in prior years have gone towards our outdoor areas, garden equipment, the home corner and additional learning resources.
