The Little Bears Team

We have an experienced, fully qualified and friendly team, which consists of our supervisor and three members of staff all of whom are DBS checked.

All children at Little Bears are assigned an individual member of staff, to act as their “key person”. They are always happy to speak to parents/guardians about any aspect of their child’s time at Little Bears.

We have a designated Safeguarding Lead and a SENCO Officer (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) who undergo specialist training.

All members of staff also have safeguarding training. A copy of our Safeguarding policy is included on our 'Policies' page.

Julie

(Also known as Ju, JuJu and Juey)

"I am married, have two children and have lived in Stadhampton for 26 years.

I have been interested in working in childcare since a very young age and did my work experience whilst at school at a local pre-school and loved it!

I have loved bringing my own two children up and have enjoyed doing creative activities with them so I thought I would combine my talents and apply for a job at Little Bears. The rest is history as they say and I have worked there for nearly 11 years and seen many children come and go.

I have also achieved my NVQ Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development since being at Little Bears.

It has been both a privilege and a pleasure being part of such an amazing team and I have enjoyed the many years I have been there and hope to be so for many more years to come, doing what I do best; giving our Little Bears the best start to school life than I possibly can, supporting them through their early years at pre-school and making it a fun and interesting place for them to learn in.

I love reading, gardening and can often be seen donning my leathers and crash helmet and riding off on the back of my husband's Harley Davidson motorbike.

I love cats, and having fun with my little granddaughter.

I can still do cartwheels at nearly 50!"

(Also known as Fudge)

"I have over 10 years experience working with children and young people & adults including working as a Rebound therapist!

I have always wanted to work within a childcare setting; even as a young child. I want to pass onto children what I learnt when I was a child and whilst growing up. I want to be a great role model for them.

I am currently studying for my Level 3 CACHE Apprenticeship in Childcare, at Little Bears.Little Bears really is a great happy place to be. It's a fun environment for children to learn through play and I believe that Debbie, Julie, Emma and I bring out the best in all of the children that walk through Little Bears doors.

I was a Goalkeeper for Northampton Centre of Excellence and I was Scouted by England Womens football team at 16!

I love watching darts especially at Christmas time."
